Bush’s Beliefs

Does George W. Bush believe Christ is coming back in his lifetime? Do you?

  1. I don’t know what President Bush believes. And I don’t know if Jesus Christ is returning in our lifetime. I guess we’ll just have to wait, and see.

But, my question to you is - if He isn’t, then why should you worry about it? Isn’t your whole question here, really an ill-disguised attack on Christian beliefs which you apparently seek to ridicule?

  2. Paranoid much?

No one’s attacking. We were hoping that the Christians who realize that Jesus was a liberal would post here more. Unfortunately, not so much.

I worry about whether George Bush’s belief in the Rapture (a questionable text, Revelations, probably written by a Catholic Priest John — not the desciple who went crazy) trying to scare people into fighting Rome. I worry because by believing so vehemently in the Rapture, especially when you’re the most powerful man in the world, I believe you can do a lot of damage trying to move up the date, so to speak.

Now that’s not an attack on Christian beliefs. It’s an attack on a perversion of them.

  3. There is more evidence that the Islamic fascists are trying to move up the date than that W is. However, there is alot of evidence that He is coming back soon.

ALF’s point is valid, though. If you do not believe He is ever coming back, then why does it bother you so much that some of us do?

It’s been a while. I hope you are well.

    Best
    C
