If the rapture is biblical. Why can't I find the subject in the bible? I know the word Rapture
doesn't appear, but I can't seem to find anything. 1 Chor. 15:52 says "at the last trump" we
will all be changed. Please help my confusion.

I think the easiest way would to be to euthanize the children to save them from the agony and fright, and to use their stem cells to help those that get "left Behind"

How do you explain that to your children? It depends on the age.
It is foolish to take a two year old and begin explaining
many things. You pick the appropriate age. When a child is older
you explain many things to them. Grandma and Grandpa are going
to die some day. Accidents happen and people die.

Likewise, you explain that someday Jesus is coming back and he
is going to take everyone who has put their faith in him to
live with him forever in heaven. At least that is the way
you would do it if you believe the Bible.

Many other people think the end of the world is coming. Listen
to doomsayers around the news and it often seems like
chicken little has been cloned.

The alternative to believing the end of the world is coming
is to believe that it will never occur. This flies not only
in the face of what the Bible teaches but even what
science and experience teaches. Life does not continue
for everyone on this earth forever.

as a christian who believes the 'end of the world' is coming (end of human civilization, doesn't that qualify? was there a 'world' to end before there were humans to call it a world of think about it ending?)

if i had kids (why would you have kids if you think the world is going to end?), i would tell them that humans, in a quest for godlike power, built machines that use oil. in the begining there were so few machines and so much oil that it seemed like there oil would last forever. by the time they had the wisdom to realize that building life-support systems (like the pipes that deliver water, or the trucks that deliver food) that run on oil was a bad idea, it was too scary to think about. so they just built more machines until the men, in their quest for godlike power, realized that there might not be enough oil for everyone, so now they're getting ready to fight a big war for the the last of the oil.

You all are out to lunch with no real food to eat. The question for believers or non-believers cannot be explained to children of any age, let only to an educated adult who spent many years pondering the existence of life and why were our here on Earth.

You all lack the understanding that some people want GOD, and others do not. It is simple human behavior to want or not want. Those wants can change over one lifespan. I get to choose my wants down her on Earth and no matter what way I choose I get to live here until the end. Then if the choice was, right then I live on; Energy can‘t be created nor destroyed. In God’s eyes or Sciences Logic, we go somewhere. A child’s mind is innocent and accepts only the truths told to it by their parents or mentor. So, tell the truth we do not know either way.

Stop your left view or right view and let people just view the world, politics and life for themselves.

All of you, who put anything else, have an agenda to control, and take from those who just follow (like cows) and fall into your views, which all logic says is wrong.

If my view is wrong, than the other view is wrong, and neither equal each other

Reduce Income Tax (Make a Fair Tax), Enforce Criminal Laws and make tougher prison sentences, and shorten death row appeals, Private SS accounts that Government can’t touch, cut wasteful social programs that achieve no independence from government systems. Limit Federal government involvement in State rights. Keep Federal Government limited to the constitution to only support it minimal role, provide national army, public infrastructures, and an assemble for the peoples voice to be heard (Congress). Everything else is the states responsibility.

Leave God in our historical documents, schools books, government and anything that is public.

Say bye bye to your extremist left views and welcome to a Moderate Mainstream Thoughts (The Majority Rules in the U.S.)

Reality man, you're an idiot. You camplain about our left and right agendas, and then you spew your right wing garbage. You want to force God down my children's throats, you want to screw the poor (wonder what your Jesus would say about that), you want to make it easier to accidentally kill innocent people with the death penalty, and you espouse states rights, which you no doubt would like to use to take away a woman's choice to control her medical decisions. All this you say after you said we should stop our left view or right view.

Sounds to me like you're just another right wing hypocrite.

And then you spit out this barely intelligible logical (and mispelled) fallacy: "If my view is wrong, than [sic] the other view is wrong, and neither equal each other". Actually, in most cases, where we take opposite views of issues, like whether Saddam had something to do with Al Qaeda, or whether Iraq had WMD, if you're wrong, then I'm right. As for whether we'd be better off following your libertarian views of just letting people die in the streets while we force kids to pray, while executing more people more quickly, well, not only are you wrong, but I will fight you to stop that ridiculous view of the world from ever seeing the light of day.

Perhaps more importantly, you completely ignored the question while attacking us. How do you explain the book of Revelation, which some people say should never have been added to the Bible (John was in a crazy house and hallucinating when he wrote it), to children. How do you explain to them that everyone who doesn't believe in your version of Jesus is going to die a horrible death in a lake of fire? How do you explain that only those you deeem worthy will be allowed into your country club version of heaven?

We completely understand that some what GOD and others don't. You apparently don't care that the constitution says that those of us who DON'T want God (at least not yours) have every right to not be forced to live with your religion in our "school books, government, or anything that's public."

We are not extreme leftists. We're very normal people who believe strongly in the seperation of church and state. And judging from your scattered ramblings, I'm even more certain that I'm right and you're wrong than I was 15 minutes ago.

It's all about faith! God provides! Look at our world. We have everything that we need and
ever need, left of right, strong willed or confused. It's all right here and thru faith on our
creator, we will know when and how to tell our children. You can be full of hate and anger and
teach your children those things or you can choose to have God lead you through scripture and a
one on one relationship with Him through prayer. Even if you do not believe in God you must
accept that there is something much greater than you! I suggest researching the bible and read
it with an open mind and seek knowledgeable answers to questions that you may have from knowledge-
able people.

To Frank who wondered where the rapture is in the bible, I'm an athiest so no worries, but I'm know it's somewhere in there. It talks about the 7 seals and the 4 horsmen and the order they come in. I think it's the red horse, white, black, then pale, then it's the period of famine, then it's the period of plague, then it's a half an hour of false peace before all hell breakes loose (literally).
